Bobby Khan’s Plan to Honor & Support Our Veterans

No Taxes, Free Healthcare, Housing, and Fair Pay for Those Who Served

America’s veterans put their lives on the line to protect our country, yet after their service, too many are left behind—struggling with disabilities, PTSD, homelessness, and financial hardship. Meanwhile, FBI agents and bureaucrats sit behind desks making six figures while troops in war zones barely earn enough to survive.

It’s time for real reform. If you fought for this country, you should never have to fight for benefits, healthcare, housing, or financial stability.

I’m fighting to ensure every veteran and service member gets the respect, support, and security they deserve—by cutting wasteful government salaries and putting that money where it belongs: into the hands of our troops.

The Problems Veterans Face Today

  1. Wounded & Disabled Veterans Are Still Paying Taxes
    • Many permanently disabled veterans and those suffering from PTSD are still being taxed on their income.
    • It is disgraceful that men and women who gave their health and peace of mind for our country have to hand over a portion of their benefits to the IRS.
    • No veteran who was permanently disabled or suffers from PTSD should ever pay taxes again.
  2. Military Spouses Are Financially Punished When Their Loved One Dies
    • Right now, if a service member or veteran passes away, the government claws back their final benefits check if they didn’t live out the full month.
    • This is unacceptable. No grieving family should suddenly lose money they were depending on just because their loved one died late in the month.
    • The government shouldn’t take back payments—it should support families, not make things harder.
  3. Veterans Are Sleeping on the Streets While We Have Federal Land
    • An estimated 40,000 veterans are homeless on any given night in America.
    • The U.S. government owns over 640 million acres of federal land—enough to build entire cities.
    • Instead of allowing veterans to suffer, we should use federal land to build affordable housing for those who served.
  4. Healthcare for Veterans Is a Bureaucratic Nightmare
    • Many veterans have to wait weeks or months for treatment at VA hospitals, while others live too far from VA facilities to get care.
    • Veterans should be able to go to ANY hospital in the country and receive care—free of charge.
    • If we can afford foreign aid and wasteful government spending, we can afford to take care of our veterans.
  5. Military Pay Is Too Low While FBI Agents Make Six Figures
    • Many active-duty service members rely on food stamps or struggle to provide for their families.
    • Meanwhile, FBI agents and bureaucrats sit behind desks making six figures, doing nothing to defend this nation.
    • Troops in war zones should be making six figures—not government agents sitting in air-conditioned offices.
    • I will fight to cut salaries at the FBI and DOJ and redirect that money to increase military pay.

My Plan to Fix These Issues

  1. No Taxes for Wounded & Disabled Veterans
    • Veterans who are permanently disabled or suffer from PTSD should never have to pay taxes again.
    • If you gave your body or mind to serve this country, you have already paid your fair share.
    • I will introduce legislation to eliminate federal taxes for:
      • Veterans with service-connected disabilities
      • Veterans diagnosed with PTSD
      • Spouses of fallen service members
  2. End the Government’s “Clawback” of Benefits After a Veteran Dies
    • Right now, if a veteran dies on the 28th of the month, the government takes back their entire benefit check.
    • I will end this cruel practice—if a veteran lives for any part of the month, their family keeps their benefits.
    • Surviving spouses and children should never face financial hardship because of bureaucratic greed.
  3. Free Healthcare at Any Hospital for Veterans
    • Veterans shouldn’t have to rely only on VA hospitals.
    • Any veteran should be able to walk into any hospital in the country and receive full medical care—without waiting months for VA approval.
    • I will introduce legislation to:
      • Allow free hospital care for all veterans, regardless of VA enrollment.
      • Cover ALL medical costs—no more out-of-pocket expenses for those who served.
      • Expand mental health and PTSD treatment options for veterans in crisis.
  4. Use Federal Land to Build Housing for Veterans
    • The U.S. government owns over 640 million acres of federal land—we have the space to build affordable housing for veterans.
    • I will push for:
      • Federal funding to build housing communities specifically for veterans.
      • Job programs to employ veterans in building and managing these communities.
      • A housing-first approach to ensure no veteran sleeps on the streets.
  5. Increase Military Pay by Cutting FBI & DOJ Salaries
    • FBI agents make six figures while troops in war zones barely make enough to survive.
    • If the DOJ and FBI have the money to waste on political witch hunts, they have the money to pay our troops more.
    • I will fight to cut bloated salaries at the FBI and DOJ and redirect those funds to increase military pay.
    • No more military families on food stamps—service members will be able to provide for their loved ones.

The Benefits of This Plan

  1. Veterans Will Finally Get the Support They Deserve
    • No more homeless veterans, no more veterans struggling for healthcare, no more unfair taxes on disabled vets.
  2. Military Families Will Have Financial Security
    • No more stolen benefits from grieving families.
    • Surviving spouses and children will have stable financial support.
  3. The Economy Will Benefit from More Secure Veterans
    • Veterans will be able to contribute more to society if they have housing, jobs, and financial stability.
    • A strong veteran workforce means a stronger economy.
  4. Morale in the Military Will Improve
    • Higher pay and better benefits mean more people will want to serve—keeping our military strong.
    • No more military families on food stamps—service members will be able to support their families.
  5. We Will Stop Rewarding Bureaucrats While Ignoring Heroes
    • No more six-figure salaries for FBI agents who do nothing for national security.
    • Our troops on the front lines deserve the best pay—not overpaid government bureaucrats.

The Bottom Line: Stand Up for Those Who Served

  • No taxes for wounded and disabled veterans—because they already paid their dues.
  • No more government clawbacks—if a veteran dies, their family keeps their benefits.
  • No more homeless veterans—federal land should be used to house those who served.
  • Free healthcare at ANY hospital for veterans—because waiting months for treatment is unacceptable.
  • Higher pay for active-duty service members—funded by cutting FBI and DOJ salaries.

This isn’t a handout—it’s about honoring a promise.

The government has failed our veterans for too long. It’s time to stop the excuses and start delivering real solutions.

If you served this country, you should never have to fight for basic benefits.

I will fight to fix this broken system and make sure our heroes get what they deserve.
